It’s not spring yet, but it is getting closer every
day. The sun is shining and it’s
heading up to the 50’s all week long.
Yes, it will rain, but there is also loads of sunshine mixed within the
gray. I’m so excited. The end of winter is near. Thank goodness, as I really don’t know that
I could have taken much more.
So this week, I am starting a new story. Or I should say finishing a new story, that
I had begun and put aside for Nano in November and haven’t touched it
since. It’s new and exciting and
something a little different than my usual.
I’m not even sure yet if it will have a romance element to it. The dude that is one of the main characters
is a bit of a jerk and I wouldn't date him…I can’t imagine my main girl would
either. We will see how it turns
out.
There you have it, back to the grind for me. I maybe could have used a bit longer of a
break to read and be lazy but I was kind of excited to get back at it. I figured I better ride the creative wave
while I had it in my hands. You never
know when it will pitter out and when the next wave will come.
A spring burst, eh? Wicked! Sounds intriguing...
ReplyDeleteWell I know you're happy about spring but I'm depressed! Spring will be over in a blink of an eye down here in Louisiana and I'll be sweating my brains out soon. Grrrrr. I'm glad your back to working on that story from Nano. I'm on pins and needles waiting for you to get it published so I can read it!
