It's up to us at this point to make our lives and our children's lives as full of life as we can.

I miss my sister and my brother and how we were when we were kids. Life tends to get in the way. It does make me a little sad now and then.

ctnyCourtney Renehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06071553271857082374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1535071685933167978.post-67844020422238975432012-06-13T10:53:43.101-07:002012-06-13T10:53:43.101-07:00This post made me sad ... wistful sad. I can see it whenever I meet people who say they hated their siblings ... and I think, God, I love my siblings, I wish I lived with them still. We had so much fun together.

I guess it's up to us to make sure our kids know what summer really means ...ladaisihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05348955254558187266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1535071685933167978.post-31228253770463353892012-06-11T09:06:07.310-07:002012-06-11T09:06:07.310-07:00That was my plan too. How did that happen?

I think if we were in town there would be more kids around to do some of those things. But do they? I dont know. I'm out of the loop of you townie people.

Eh, what do I know.Courtney Renehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06071553271857082374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1535071685933167978.post-16099886571925615932012-06-11T08:41:38.749-07:002012-06-11T08:41:38.749-07:00You describe childhood wonderfully... the penny sw...You describe childhood wonderfully... the penny sweets (taking forever to pick them out! 5 of those, 8 of those, 1 of those, 2 of those...), hide-and-seek... and running home when the streetlights came on. Our parents had it easy - they never saw us!

I am hesitant to put Roz into any activities. I will... I just wasn't quite ready to be run ragged like you this year. She'll never be allowed to do more than one, though. I mean it! ;)

I kind of hope she'll make friends around here. It's why we moved to bloomin' suburbia, by the school, after all. (It's different for you being in the country.) I hope there are still some kids left, who aren't running off to activites.CarrieBoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05760105674950918729noreply@blogger.com
